My name is Sudenaz Çelik, and it is my greatest honor to serve as the Director General of KAFMUN'26. On behalf of our devoted Secretariat and Organization Team, I am delighted to welcome you to the 2026 edition of Kocaeli Ali Fuat Başgil Social Sciences High School Model United Nations, which will take place from February 13th to 15th.
 
KAFMUN holds a very special place in my heart as it was the first conference I ever attended. It has contributed to my personal and academic growth in countless ways. During this event, I had the opportunity to take part in both the academic and organizational sides. I began my organizational journey as a member of the Public Relations Team, and that experience became a true turning point for me.
 
To me, leadership is not only about coordination or planning; it is about empathy, teamwork, and commitment. Every MUN brings its own challenges, but what makes KAFMUN special is the dedication and enthusiasm of everyone who stands behind it. I firmly believe that the spirit of unity within our community will turn every obstacle into an opportunity, and every effort into a memorable experience.
